ICTs Benefits

Many studies have shown that access and mastering of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at school can have a beneficial effect on learning, the teacher’s willingness to experiment with new and innovative approaches.Several evaluations have shown that ICTs help to increase the amount of independent and collaborative learning. ICTs have shown to be more learner-centered.

  1. You are spot on madam,the issue with ICT in schools is that are used for computer litearcy instead of being used to facilitate learning and teaching.

  3. We still have a long way to go Sthe. I have realised when we were doing the survey that the school do not utilize ICT effectively. We still have many school which have educators who cannot use or who have no interest in learning about ICT. Not studying, just learning. They do have all the resources at their disposal. There are school which have the Gauteng on line facility, but i tell you, the facility is not utilized because they are still waiting for a training by the department. The whole school. How is that.

  4. Why are our youth go aimlessly with earphones around their neck.Is that learning? laughing alone infront of the facebook page want arrest charge with serious voilation of human intellec subsequent banishment of cyber space. Is that when the user luagh alone signal madness not joyride.
